Adoptable Pets: A Tour of States Rolls into Mississippi Posted: 27 Aug 2011 09:01 PM PDT by Carrie Boyko, CEB | © Carrie Boyko | | Tinkerbell | We're back in the south again, visiting Mississippi today. I often wonder what the differences will be in each area. Today's larger dog is Tinkerbell, a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd Dog mix. Tinkerbell was left behind when her family moved away, and yet is sweet and very well behaved. The rescue says she has many fine qualities that will make her a good pet. Tinkerbell is a young dog with much love to give; she is available in Carthage, Mississippi. | Male Beagle Mix | This little Beagle Mix pup has 6 brothers and sisters, all looking for a home. They are available in the Pelahatchie, Mississippi area. Colors range from mostly black to lighter like this one. Check them out at the link above. Now let's meet a young cat named Ava that was left in a carrier for someone to find. She is described as sweet, loving and adorable. Ava sounds like the perfect cat, young and ready for her new home. She is available in Madison, Mississippi. | Ava | Our weekly rabbit preview turned up only one rabbit, Cotton. She is a small adult female available in Columbus, Mississippi. As with all pets on Petfinder, Cotton has been spayed/neutered and is up to date on all shots. | Cotton |
