Tipper
Thanks for joining me for my Sunday ritual where I tour the country highlighting adoptable pets. Today we're in Illinois, as I work my way through the alphabet. Meet Tipper. She is an Australian Shepherd that is available for adoption in Colfax, Illinois.

All of the adoptable pets that I highlight are up to date on all shots and have been spayed or neutered.

Dalton
Dalton is a Beagle boy who is ready for his new home. Dalton is also in Colfax and is a young fella, who will be with you for many years. Give Dalton a closer look at the link.

Now it's time to check out kitties in Illinois. The Petfinder system is so easy. You simply the click on the type of pet and the location. Then you are able to narrow your search for size, sex, and many other criteria. This helps you locate just the right family member for your household.

Sam
Sam is a domestic medium haired boy that has been declawed. This means that he will always need to remain inside, as he will have no protection from predatory animals. Sam is described as being very affectionate and cuddly. He loves to snuggle up while you watch a movie. A middle-aged kitty, Sam had beautiful, large green eyes. Won't you consider giving Sam a home?

Now let's check out Dottie, a bunny that caught my eye because she resembles a Dalmatian. Dottie is a spirited girl that needs a stable home so that she may get comfortable and feel safe. Dottie is being cared for in Galesburg, Illinois. She is litter box trained.

We hope that if you decide to bring a new family member in, you will consider adopting rather than purchasing from a petstore. It is unfortunate that many of the pets that come from petstores have been bred under horrible conditions at puppy mills and other crowded, unsanitary facilities. Their health may suffer as a result.

Choosing a pet from Petfinder that has been displaced is a much better choice. You will have the opportunity to get acquainted with your prospective buddy, while asking questions of his caregiver or foster family. Choose a pet that fits the activity level of your home for the best resutls. Best wishes!
