Adoptable Pets: A Tour of States Goes to Arkansas Posted: 02 Apr 2011 09:01 PM PDT by Carrie Boyko, CEB
Morrie is a hound/Boxer mix that is still a puppy. He is being fostered in the Conway area, and his foster family says he is a bundle of joy. He'll be a medium-sized dog that will enjoy an active family. My goal is to highlight both a medium to large dog each week, along with a smaller breed or mix. Today's smaller dog is a Silky Terrier named Lightening; he is also in the Conway area. Lightening is a well-trained and fun little dog who was lost in a storm. His owner was not located, so he is available to a lucky family. Want a smaller fetch-trained pup? Lightening is just your guy! He loves to play ball.
Our adoptable kitty for this week is Squinty Quincy, a short-haired adult male that still looks much like a kitten. Quincy is in the Maumelle area, but there is an online application and a phone number on his information page, so be sure to check it out if you're interested. ![]() It's that time of year again, when rabbits are in high demand for Easter. Louie Louie is hoping to find a new home. He's a mini lop-eared rabbit who is extremely friendly and lovable, following his foster family all around the house. Doesn't he belong with you?
A note about Easter and rabbit adoptions: Please keep the animal's long-term welfare in consideration when thinking about adopting a bunny for your kids at this time of year. While a bunny can be a low-maintenance pet, they are not all as sociable as Louie. Be sure to ask lots of questions and clearly understand what you're getting into before you adopt. Just as with children, adoption should be a permanent situation. Best wishes! And as always, don't forget to visit 5 Minutes for Fido, where Tanner and Oliver spout off their opinions and generally offer up silliness. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Visit Adopt a Dog Park Help protect our precious dog parks © Carrie Boyko, all rights reserved![]() Follow All Things Dog at Twitter Find me at Facebook ![]() © copyright Carrie Boyko, all rights reserved ![]() Bookmark this on Delicious | ||||||||
