Adoptable Pets: A Tour of States Checks out New Jersey Posted: 05 Nov 2011 09:01 PM PDT by Carrie Boyko, CEB © Carrie Boyko My weekly visit to the Petfinder site always brings  a few surprises. NJ appears to be teeming with Cane Corso Mastiffs. This sweet girl, Angie Wow Wow, was taken when found emaciated. She is now healthy and still a youngster at 1 1/2 to 2 years, and has gained weight and proven to be a good housemate for other dogs and cats alike. Now all she needs to make her life whole is a family to call her own. You can see Angie in Monroe, NJ, where she is being fostered. Angie Wow wow Piper Piper is a young, female Whippet/Hound mix that has a wonderful disposition. While she enjoys attention and human interaction, she also has the ability to entertain herself with toys for long periods of time. Piper is available for adoption in West Windsor, NJ. Scout Meet Scout, a young, curious, fearless fella who is quite the explorer. Scout is available for adoption in Hightstown, NJ. Please check him out. Baby Girl Allie Baby Girl Allie was given up by her former owner because she was not affectionate enough. Perhaps a different approach was all Allie needed, as her foster mom has worked with her and found her to be quite friendly. She has also determined that Allie will "sell her soul for a bunny treat", making the way to this girl's hear through her stomach. She'll make a wonderful pet and is available for adoption in Cream Ridge, NJ.
