| Adoptable Pets: A Tour of States Goes to Our Nation's Capitol Posted: 29 Oct 2011 09:01 PM PDT by Carrie Boyko, CEB | | © Carrie Boyko | | | Aruba | This beautiful and sweet dog was lucky enough to be picked up by a concerned someone who found her searching for food at the dump. Aruba was friendly and pleasant as they drove to the rescue, where they eagerly anticipated a call from her owners. Now it is time to find Aruba a permanent home where she will get the love and attention she needs and deserves. You can see Aruba in Delhi, New York. | | Charlie | Now let's meet Charlie, a handsome tri-color Beagle, also available in Delhi, New York. Charlie's story is not yet posted on the rescue site, but I noticed that he is wearing a tag on his collar, so this could mean he has come from a previous home. Give him a look. He has a nice smile. | | Sammy | SAMMY is a long-haired lady who entered the shelter on March 9, 2011 at the age of about 4 years old. She's a sweet coy little lady who appreciates attention. You can meet Sammy in New Delhi, New York. Be sure to check out he info at the link to her name. | | Jacob and Sherman | Jacob and Sherman are a pair of siblings that are very bonded to one another. It would be best if they were adopted together as they spend all of their time together. Although they are doing well at the sanctuary, they are ready for a permanent home. It is not uncommon for rabbits to bond to one another. They generally are happier and better pets when a bonded pair is not split up.
