Adoptable Pets: A Tour of States Comes to Our Home Posted: 14 May 2011 09:01 PM PDT by Carrie Boyko, CEB
Wolfie was left alone when his owner was taken to a nursing home. A nice neighbor cared for him daily until no longer able. Now that he is in a foster home, he is pleased to have people and other pets around, and to get outside more often. He is a lovable and sweet boy who will make a nice pet. Oliver, our Papillon, met a Papillon friend today at the dog park and enjoyed playing with him immensely. It almost made me feel guilty that he does not have a like-sized doggie companion. But what about Tanner?
Duke has just arrived at the rescue and his information is not yet available. You can check the link to his name for more details as they become listed on the site. Petfinder is pretty good about adding information when they get an update on an adoptable pet. We sure do hope Duke finds a family that can get him out for a good long walk every day.
If you are located in central Florida, these pets and many others like them are also. More information is available at the link to each of their names, where you can learn something about their past lives and their personalities. If you have not found the perfect pet here, feel free to do your own search on the Petfinder system, where you can choose your location, pet type, breed, size, color, sex and more. Whatever you do, we hope you will choose adoption. Xena, Patches, Robby and Oliver all came to us this way, and they are all great pets. Adoption really is a great option. |
