ASK THE TRAINER debut

Hello dog lovers:

Several months ago when I polled my readers at All Things Dog Blog, you told me that you would like to have an ASK THE TRAINER column. Well, you asked for it, and you got it!

You can meet Judith Joseph, of Total Control Dog Owner Assistance, on my blog March 7th at All Things Dog Blog. She and her pack of 6 will be tackling your questions and sharing training tips on the blog. Her introduction will appear on March 7, along with her photo and a few tidbits about her. There will be more information to come when she appears with her first official post shortly thereafter.

Judy has written for All Things Dog Blog before. Perhaps you read her article about the Pomeranian that would not come to its owner. You can see it at Trainer Tackles Pomeranian with Targeting. Judy's clever use of this training technique was a brilliant solution for this feisty little Pom, and you may find it useful in your own dog's challenges. I encourage you to read it, if you're looking for assistance.

Judy and I are very excited to be partnering in this special way. You will be able to ask your training questions easily by emailing us at ASK THE TRAINER at All Things Dog Blog. Feel free to include photos of your pup if you like. That email is LetsAdoptaDogPark@gmail.com. You are welcome to begin writing to Judy now. She is ready to get started!

One more thing--I'd like to ask you to be sure to leave your comments on the blog. I love to hear from you, and want your input on our content. If you have ideas or requests for topics, you can leave a comment or write to me at LetsAdoptaDogPark@gmail.com. Keep in touch!

Before I go, let me take this opportunity to mention two other events:
  • National Clean Dog Park Awareness Week is coming up: March 21-27. Keep an eye out for my post with more information.
  • Popular 'Disc Dog' competitor, Chris Engel, is writing a series of 5 guest posts for All Things Dog Blog, with tips on teaching your dog to play Frisbee. Frisbee Dog 101, Part I is available to read on the blog right now, so get on over there and find out how to have more fun exercising your dog.
Happy tails,

Carrie Boyko
